This cake is for a male but he is in costa rica and wanted to make it tropical...Can it pass??

I think the brown of the chocolate makes it look manly.

I don't think it's too girly at all. It looks great. The chocolate makes it a little more "manly"!

Thanks you guys,

They liked it! I don't think the boy was to happy about the flowers but everybody commented on how pretty it was...and well...asked 25 for it and they gave me 30!! Can't beat that!!!

If you were concerned that it looked too girly, next time you could use a different color flower. One of those fiery orange ones, maybe. Hibiscus come in all colors.

Gotcha, seagoat. I think the cake is nice, it seemed that you were worried about the color.
I didn't realize that you grew the flowers. That's neat! Do you eat them or are they just for looking at? My mother-in-law uses them in tea. Even dried they look pretty displayed in a jar in her kitchen. Taste pretty nice, too...
