You are correct -- I went to wilton.com and the only difference was the water -- it says to use warm water.
Duh
I didn't even think to check their web site. LOL. Thanks so much. I'm making a mosaic cake board and I need to secure the tiles with Royal. Here is my project. Thank you again.
Just another tidbit was that I was taught to beat it until it lost it's glossiness...it will dry better according to the lady who was my Wilton teacher..
I don't know if that makes a difference but it is what I do...
HTH
ditto. Beat it for 10 minutes, no more, no less. And don't add the 6 tbsp of water at once start at 5 and then slowly add the 6th. I'm not sure where you live but, here in AZ it's a dry heat and that means we have to add extra water to our RI. If it's shiny, your RI will not keep it's shape.
I mix mine for 10 minutes too. I've never had a problem with it.
The mosaic tile is very pretty, I love the colors
