I have a can of Wilton Meringue Powder but I can't find the recipe for RI (it comes with the can). I think it's 1 box of powdered sugar, 3 T Meringue Powder and 6 T water. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance for your response.

You are correct -- I went to wilton.com and the only difference was the water -- it says to use warm water.

Duh icon_lol.gif I didn't even think to check their web site. LOL. Thanks so much. I'm making a mosaic cake board and I need to secure the tiles with Royal. Here is my project. Thank you again.

Just another tidbit was that I was taught to beat it until it lost it's glossiness...it will dry better according to the lady who was my Wilton teacher..
I don't know if that makes a difference but it is what I do...

JaneK -- Yes it does make a difference. If it's not mixed for at least 7 minutes it will either fall to mush or not set. At least that is the case for the Wilton recipe.

ditto. Beat it for 10 minutes, no more, no less. And don't add the 6 tbsp of water at once start at 5 and then slowly add the 6th. I'm not sure where you live but, here in AZ it's a dry heat and that means we have to add extra water to our RI. If it's shiny, your RI will not keep it's shape.

I mix mine for 10 minutes too. I've never had a problem with it.
