Hi All....I am making a stanley cup cake today. Can you please help me make the cup shine in silver. I do have an airbrush. Should I use luster dust or will that clog my airbrush?? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

I haven't gotten my airbrush yet, but I've read on many boards that you can mix silver luster dust with vodka or everclear or lemon extract and run it through your airbrush with no problem. But I've also read that you shouldn't use sparkle dust because the flakes are bigger and you could clog your airbrush. Good Luck icon_biggrin.gif

Do you think I should use a silver color food coloring as a base before I spray on the luster dust, or will the silver dust be enought to make it that color??
