Hi-- I know this has come up many times before in the forums but I wanted to see if anyone who has kids with peanut allergies uses Pillsbury White Cake mix?? I'm looking at the box and the warning at the bottom says CONTAINS MILK, SOYBEAN, and WHEAT INGREDIENTS. Nothing on here about nuts. Does this mean it is safe to use?

If not, are there any tried and true mixes for Chocolate or for White?

Yep it's safe! I use it and I have 2 peanut allergic boys! ANything that doesn't list some sort of contact with peanuts will work.

Okay, update-- I just called the 800 number for Pillsbury (1-800-767-4466) and they said that there's absolutely no peanuts run in that plant for any of their cake mixes. (Just like you said skinnycakelady!) :O)

I'll probably call every time I have to make a cake just to hear it straight from the horse's mouth :O)
