I understand, I was amazed too. I did my first one last week for my brothers B-Day. It is so neat. It is the fish picture in my photos.

Now I am looking for coloring books with neat pictures.

Can't wait to see your picture, Brenda. I have wanted to try the FBCT but am intimidated by it. Don't really understand why. I love the way everyone's come out. Any advice that you can pass along would be greatly appreciated. I really should give this a try. I would be amazed if mine actually came out but it sure would help boost my self confidence if it did.

FBCT is a frozen buttercream transfer. You can find the how to in the articles section I think. Really neat, but haven't had the courage to try it myself. After reading this tiffy I just might. Congrats!

You know,

I've looked at the instructions about FBCT and I don't understand it at all.
I must be a special kind of dumb. icon_cry.gif

It states to smoothe the "back? How can yo do the back if it's on parchment paper??? icon_redface.gif

I'd like to do one but I just don't get it. icon_cry.gif

You smooth the top of the frosting, the part that is exposed on the parchment paper, which would be the back which is the part that goes onto the cake.

You can definitely do a FBCT. I just did my first one last week and was amazed at how well it came out. I did a practice one before I did the one for a "real" cake and once you have all of the stuff gathered and the instructions in front of you, it will make much more sense. For your first one, you might want to try a simple design to see how it works.

Oh that's BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT.. thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif
You know I had tried something to this effect. But I was just using a star tip and filling in that way. Didn't think to smooth the back though as that would have solved my problem of it breaking. icon_rolleyes.gif Duh. Thanks so much for the heads up on the tutorial. I think I'll try it in the next day or so.
