the draping or the pattern? if it's the pattern I'd say it'd be stamped/stenciled before draping...

That is fondant that has been stenciled and then cut in a wide ribbon and draped. What a great picture!! Where did you find it?? I saved it for possible future "borrowing".....Thanks for the heads up!!

Thanks for the info! I did a search for wedding magazines to look at the cakes on their galleries. This one was on weddingchannel.com.
