I have searched some threads and found some people talking about adding pudding, but can someone please give me an exact measurement? Also, I only saw instant pudding....I bought cook-n-serve so I chickened out thinking it would ruin my cake. Can you use cook-n-serve also? Has anyone tried it??

I've never used cook-n-serve, but here's how I "doctor" cake mixes with pudding:

1 box cake mix
1 box (4 serving size) regular (not sugar free) instant pudding mix
number of eggs called for on cake box + 1
double the oil called for on cake box
1 cup of water (use lemonade if making a lemon cake)

Beat the eggs to combine the yolks and whites
Slowly beat in the oil to create an emulsion
Add the pudding mix and mix until completely moistened
Add 1/2 the cake mix and 1/2 the water
Mix until combined
Add rest of cake mix and rest of water
Mix until combined
Beat on high for 2-3 minutes

Bake at 350, may take as much as 20 min longer depeding on size of pan. Start checking for doneness as per box directions.

HTH!
