OK, I got asked to do my friend's daughter's 13th bday cake. She loves cell phones and pink and black punk looking stuff. I guess I could just do a big cell phone but not sure how I should decorate it... any ideas??? icon_confused.gif

how about some cut out fondant numbers on squares then put some cut out letters for cellphone brand e.g. nokia, samsung, etc...

I have to do a cell phone cake for my granddaughter in October and have no idea what I'm going to do yet so I'll give you a bump and see what we can come up with.

i am just stuck with the design to go on the cake to make it look more punk with the pink and black...

Maybe mostly pink for the phone with assorted sized rounds--black with pink in the middle, an anarchy symbol icon_rolleyes.gif , lightning bolts, I don't know! icon_razz.gif

oh, just make it all black...that's punk...

make edges look like one of those spike collars/wrist bands they always seem to wear.

and a big ol' chain.

oh and have a safety pin piercing it somewhere

and don't forget the anarchy symbol on the screen.

if something must be pink...make it the symbol

I would do a black phone with pink buttons, black writing on them. Or a pink and black swirled cell phone base would look cool too, although I have no idea as to how to do that!

i like the one that petitesweet posted... i actually saw that too when i googled it... i was thinking that as hot pink with black accents and i really like doug's idea about the spiked collar on the sides... too cute.
