How many boxes of cake mix do you think that I will need for a 12x18 sheet cake pan?
Thanks!

I use three boxes too, bake at 325, use baking strips, and use three flower nails for a heating core.

I use 3 - no strips or heating cores - been doing it this way for several years with no problems

3 mixes, baking strips, 325, no flower nails or heating cores, grease-only (no flour).

When they want half and half I only use 2. Too big of a pain to figure out how to do more.

If you're doing half-white and half-choc, then use 1 choc and 2 white. Chocolate tends to rise higher (and spread further) so when I use this combo, the cake ends up practically 1/2-n-1/2. if it's not exactly 1/2-n-1/2, no ones notices.
