Okay, after seeing a beautiful display of logos I was wondering how can I make/create a logo for my own company.

Does anyone have any tips/advice on how to create a business logo on a computer? I've got pics and designs but I do not know how to put them together to create the logo that's in my mind.

Please help.

I had a graphic designer friend do mine after I drew him up a sketch. I would suggest contacting The Art Institute if you don't know anyone. That's a way to get one of the students to do a nice logo for cheap. They will be wanting to really make you happy so you will have an eager helper on your hands. When you call just tell whoever that you are interested in posting a freelance job for a logo and they'll be able to direct you to the Career Center.

Do you know photoshop by any chance? I made mine in photoshop using royalty free clip art (bought at Best Buy). You could probalby do one in Word as well but it's not as easy (IMO) to edit everything as it is in photoshop and you can do a lot w/ photoshop that you can't w/ word. I'm sure any photo editing software would work, but the only one i've ever tried is Photoshop (I have Elements 4.0). hth

Yes, I have also used something like Photoshop (Paint Shop Pro), it´s not to difficult (and I am not great with computers icon_wink.gif ), I also used it to help with fotos and logos etc for my website. But if you are not familiar with these kind of things, I would look for someone who likes to do this for a hobby, because a professional really costs wheeps.
You can also draw an idea on paper or write it out and give it then to someone else...

Goodluck with it!! icon_smile.gif
