I have a ziploc bag with some leftover MMF in it from 2 weeks ago in the fridge. Is it possible for me to use the rest today, or is that just gross to use something that old? If I do use it, should I add a little bit of water to moisten it? I only need 2 flowers and don't want to make another batch....

I'm new to MMF but I think that others have posted that it will keep for weeks. I don't even think you need to store it in the fridge since it doesn't have anything perishable in it. All the ingredients last for a while. To soften it up, pop it in the microwave for intervals of 5 seconds. Good luck.

Just soften it in the microwave for a few seconds and it should be good as new!

NO, it is not gross to use...
There is no dairy in it...I have MMF that I made from March and I just used it last night to make flowers...MMF does not go bad, maybe after
10 years ! it has the same shelf life as your regular sugar and marshmallow (in bag) in your pantry. First trim the "crust" on the outside part, then pop it in the Microwave for may 30 seconds (depending of the pc. size) to soften. then VOILA !!! good as new..

Likewise if you buy Wilton's brand. No need to put in the fridge, and it lasts foreeeeeeeeeeeeever.

Thanks! I will be less hesitant to make an entire batch if I know I can use it whenever. That makes MMF even cooler! icon_biggrin.gif
