HI all! I'm new here! icon_biggrin.gif My mom has been doing cakes my whole life and now that I have my own kids I am starting to really get into it! my soon to be 3 yr old wants a fairy cake. Not really tinkerbell but any fairy. And I think she is thinking in the shape of a fairy. Hoping to use traditional BC not fondant if possible? Any thoughts would be appreciated! thanks

Hi juli233,

Welcome to CC! Glad to have you here. Have you tried doing a search for fairy and then looking in the gallery! Hope you find something you like!

Welcome! I have a faiy in my pics, if that hlps... The fairy is fondant but she is sitting on a tree stump that is BC....

If you wanted no fondant than you could do a BC transfer???

Carving one might be tough if you want to use cake. What about a large BC cake with just the fairy in fondant, as Florimbio suggested. A small forest scene, you could do a stump as Florimbio has or a mushroom/toadstool from cake staked on cakes. Littel critters in the grass, maybe some flowers....
