I don't know who all is following this, but yesterday afternoon the University of Michigan Survival Flight crashed in Lake Michigan with 4 doctors and 2 pilots on board, no one survived. My husband works at the University of Michigan Hospital and it was a very sad day there. I hope you all will pray for the families of the doctors and for the family of the man they were going to save. They were transporting a lung for a man who was getting prepped for the surgery and the plane went down almost as soon as it took off from Milwaukee.
Here's a link to the details.

Yes, I did hear about this, such a tragedy. I'll be praying for all the families and friends involved.
Oh my gosh, that is so unbelievably sad and tragic. My heart breaks for everyone who lost someone in that plane crash and everyone else who was impacted by this. What a terrible sadness.
They are still searching the water for debri and whatever else that can be found. I live about 25-30 minutes west of Milwaukee where the plane crashed.
What is sad about this is not only were the lives lost on the plane, but the person who was receive the organs now may die.
The weather out by us has also been very windy, so that also hampered the resue efforts, since there is no way now that the donated organs are still viable.
Some good news has come ... the man who was waiting for the organs that were on the plane that crashed received his new set of lungs early Thursday morning.
