I decided to start a honey and lemon water diet today. It is not really for losing wieight it is to clean out your system and most people who have done it have lost some pounds. My husband did it. Well, I made it to 2pm today and I couldn't take it anymore, I eat something!!!!
I am so annoyed with myself, I have no self discipline. Now I don't know what to do. Should I just give it up, or should I try again tomorrow. I was so tired this afternoon from lack of food!
I want to lose my 20 lbs of baby weight. I worked out at Curves for 1 year with no results, then I went to a real gym and started to see results, very slowly but life is just to busy right now for me to go to the gym. Not to mention club fees are NOT in my budget.
AAAUUUGGGG!!!!!
(thanks for letting me whine, I am glad I can come here and whine)
Start again tomorrow. If that doesn't go well, start again the next day. You'll eventually get used to it, I would assume. If not, choose something more sensilbe.
Walk/jog 20 mins a day, pushing the stroller for extra effect. You'll start to see the effects. Increase by 5 mins each week or so.
You can do it!!!
First I would like to say that you are not by any means a loser. Honey and Lemon water is not enough for a busy mom to live off of. So of course you got hungry and ate, we all would!
I think that you should look into different methods of weight loss or cleansing. Most of the time fasts and fad diets are really dangerous and can cause serious problems.
Much like you, I try to get to the gym when I can, but it really is difficult when you have a child and even harder when you make cakes for a living ![]()
I hope I haven't offended you in any way, and if you need to talk please feel free to PM me.
PS-My husband is a bodybuilder, so if you need help coming up with ideas on how to lose weight at home, let me know and I can e-mail you a diet/exercise plan that would be easier to stick to.
*hugs* to you! Don't be so hard on yourself!
You aren't a loser, I wouldn't last on something like that. It probably isn't good for you anyway.
I've been working on dropping some weight and one of the things that's helped is going on walks with my kids. We have a woods behind our house with trails in it, up and down hills (yes there are a few in North Dakota) and we can easily make 1/2 a mile on one of the shorter routes. I've also been trying to watch portions a little better and stuff, it's been slow but it's coming off.
If you want you can come here, my 4 year old will whip you into shape, he wants to ride in the wagon through the woods. ![]()
Yea don't feel bad, a while back I tried doing the Lemonade diet(lemon juice, maple, Chayenne pepper oil) by the end of the day I was gagging on it and the next morning I woke up with a massive headache and then started vomiting! Besides those diets I feel are a quick way to lose that you gain right back. Slow and steady is the way to go. BTW, I joined Curves a ways back and after two months no results, even while doing W.W.
I hope I haven't offended you in any way
You did not offend me at all. Thanks everyone for the support. I think I will try something else. I did the southbeach diet after my first child was born and lost the baby fat pretty quickly. Maybe I will do it again. I just HATE diets!!
Ray75, I couldn't help but laugh inside at your story. I am glad I am not the only one.
