I have to make 2 batches of no fails with antonia 74 icing this week. One batch is for Saturday and the other batch is for Monday. I need to make Monday's batch no later than Friday because I have family coming in town. I would prefer to make both batches at the same time. Would it be too far in advance to make both batches Wednesday? Or maybe I should bake Monday's batch today, put them in the freezer then take them out and decorate them Friday. What do you think? Thanks for the advice!

I have found that the no fail cookies have a pretty long shelf life but in my opinion, making the cookies on Wednesday for Monday is a bit early. I would bake the batches together and stick the cookies for Monday in the freezer and take those out Saturday to decorate.

I have put the cookies in the freezer too and they were fine.

I would bake them today and freeze them. Decorate on Friday and have the weekend for drying time. I think that if you baked them on Wednesday and left them out they would probably start getting stale ...

Just my opinion! lol
