Hi guys. My sisters birthday is june 19th and she has requested a cake...with fresh strawberry's.....i thought about doing a white cake and fill the center with cream cheese and cheesecake pudding...sprinkle confect sugar on top and put fresh strawberries all around the bottom...how does this sound? any other type of cake suggestions would be welcome!!!
I make a fresh strawberry filling that is wonderful. It requires making a puree of some of the strawberries and cooking that and then cooling it and adding sliced fresh into it. It comes oout tasting very fresh. Even my hubby loved it and he hates "jam".

I just made a Strawberry Supreme (duncan hines?) box mix added an extra egg and some vanilla pudding and baked it. Then I took Julie's Buttercream recipe and added fresh strawberries to it so that there was just a little buttercream, not alot. It was awesome. I made it for a bridal shower and people were just raving about it.
