Can I put filling in a purse cake? I want to do one for a very nice girl that I know likes choc and raspberry. I was hoping to do a choc cake w/ rasp filling and bc icing but I had my heart set on a purse. I was thinking the kind that's a round cut in half. Thanks!

I have a purse cake in the photo gallery. It's filled with lemon curd and covered in choc. clay. As an experiment, it was in the freezer fo 2 weeks and came out as fresh as it went in.

That is good to know fearless...did you apply your fondant while frozen?? I am assuming you used the dreaded fondant to cover your purse. icon_rolleyes.gif

No, No, No, only the black was black Satin Ice. I made chocolate clay and colored it. I hate fondant too!!!
