I have been reading several posts and have seen pictures of cakes where MMF is talked about or used? I'm new to cake decorating and I have never heard of this. Could someone fill me in???

Thanks,
Michelle

MMF is Marshmallow Fondant. It's made by mixing melted marshmallows with powdered sugar until you get a dough that can be rolled out and used to cover cakes or mold decorations.

I made some MMF yesterday. How long does it stay good? Do you just pop it in the microwave to soften it ?

I think that stuff lasts forever--LOL! You can put it in the micro for a few seconds to soften it or if it's dried out.

Thanks for the quick response. How much of each do you use and do you use actual marshmallows or can you use fluff? Is it easier to work with? I'm sure it tastes much better!
