Does anyone know how to make chocolate spirals similar to the ones in this cake? (Got the picture from the gallery, the artist is Pyxxydust).

You could just melt candy melts and pipe them onto wah paper and pop them in the freezer until set and peel them off to put on your cake.

I have done something similar-made red hearts for valentines day. Tape down your swirl pattern to the table. Put wax paper over top. Using candy melts or melted choc. in a bag w/ a tip, trace the design. Can place the wax paper w/ the swirl in the frig to set faster. May want to add a second layer on top of the original swirl or use a larger tip opening to get a thicker, sturdier swirl. Once they have set-or re-hardened, you can place them where you would like. Very easy and very elegant looking!! thumbs_up.gif
