Preserving Mmf??

I made this cake for my father's 60th birthday with MMF. My father absolutely loved the golfer on it and wants to shadow box it with pictures. Is there anything I can to to it...put a coating...something to preserve it??

after it turns fully hard, a couple of coats of clear shellac should keep it for a fairly long time. look for the non-yellowing kind.

That cake is just way too cute!! I can't help you with your question though. I assume you can keep it as is?

Thanks Flayvurdfun for bumping me up! I will let my Dad know to use the clear coat...thanks Dave! I am really enjoying this website...I truley am addicted and looking at taking the next level of cake decorating. There are just so many amazing cakes here. Everyone is so nice and helpful too.
