I'm only 16 and i've learnt most of my stuff from books but i going to do a course in september. anyways its a 6in and an 8in fruit cake covered with icing and marzipan and has a lot of rum in it! and i was wondering how much you would charge but i did it for free as a present.

Wow, 16yrs old??!! Your cake is beautiful, you seem to have a natural talent for cake decorating=) I can't imagine the cakes you will be making 10 years down the road!! Jen
Ps. I don't know what you should charge, I was just in awe of your cake and how talented you are at such a younger age=) You are going to be an amazing cake decorator!!
great job! you are very talented for your age!!! sorry I can't help with pricing but great work!!!!
I think your cake is great! I have been doing cakes since I was 20 ... for almost five years now ... but most people think I look about 16 or younger! I don't know how many people have asked me, "Did you bake that cake by yourself??" That's a rather ridiculous question when your 24! Anyway, people don't really care how old you are if your cakes look nice and tase good. I charge around $1-1.50 for cakes ... it's too low but it is the only price I can get ... and I'm doing it more for the fun of it anyway! =)
