i was looking for directions on how to ice a square cake smooth. i have found that some people add corn syrup to the icing to make the icing smoother. has anyone tried this?
I always add about six tablespoons for each double batch of buttercream. (Wilton recipe, half margerine half crisco) I don't know if it makes that much of a difference in the decorating, but I think it gives it a little better taste. Marilyn
