My cheesecake recipe calls for 5 eggs but i only have 4 will it be ok??

i'd add a little bit of oil to subsitute the liquid and it should be okay, may not be quite as fluffy

you can use meringue powder if you have some.

I think 1 TBS = 1 egg, but it should say on the side of the container.

is it really ok to use meringue? It says that 2tsp meringue & 2 tbls water = 1 egg white.

I think it will be fine. It will help it to rise, not as good as another egg in richness, but I'd use it in a pinch.

ahh when you talk about the richness thats what i dont want to give up, its a cheesecake i just got thats supposed to be like cheesecake factory, i think i'm gonna go buy eggs.
