Something like that is going to be difficult to email. Many email servers will not allow attachments that big.
Compress it as much as you can, make sure you us WinZIP or WinRAR to compress.
you may have to try several different email services to find one that will allow you to have attachments that large. Then there is still no guarantee that the person receiving it will be allowed to download that size attachment.
Usually the best way to distribute a file like that is to upload it to a website and make it downloadable for others.
Tara, would it be too much of a hassle to post it to a picture site where you can download family albums? We do that too as well as email but I have never emailed a clip. Best of luck!
What if you were to upload it to a file sharing site? I've never done a movie and couldn't begin to say how that's done but I've done other types of files. The site provides a link to the file and you can share the link with others. I'm not sure what the limitations are for free accounts but I use Ripway www.ripway.com
