Need Suggestions Quick!!!

I am making my first doll cake like right now, but I don't know exactly how to do the skirt. I'm using MMF. Do I wrap the cake with MMF or lay it over the top. I have been trying to lay it over the top but it is hard for me. Need suggestions quick!!

Take a look in the photo gallerie. There are some beautiful doll cakes.
Me, I haven't done a doll cake with MMF, but I know that there are a lot of decorators on CC that can help you out!

I just finished my first doll cake with MMF. First time using MMF too!

Drape it over the skirt and then instert the doll. Then you wrap the doll bodice in MMF.
