can I use lemon extract instead of lemon juice in the satin icing recipe?

I think it has to be lemon juice.......because of the acid- but I have not actually tried the recipe.

hmm that makes sense your probably right. Was gonna try the satin icing because i wanted to make sure that I had a fondat that was hard enough for bows. I may try the MMF for bows, but I saw where a few ladies had trouble getting it work with mmf.

I have made bows out of MMF.........I don't know if the recipe on here for satin ice will work for that or not. Let me know how it works. Good Luck!
