that I ordered from CC,and WOW! These bottles are huge! Do you use less/same/more than Wilton to get the colors? I got red, royal blue, and black. I can't wait to use them!

I love the Americolors SO much!! They save the hours of worry when it comes to tinting those impossibly-bright or dark colours. Just wait, you'll see! icon_smile.gif

I got the Super Black, but they were out of the Super Red, so I got Christmas Red. I need to make a red barn cake, Superman, and Lightming MacQueen in the next few weeks, and thought it may be easier to use that then jar after jar of the Wilton.

I love Americolors. icon_biggrin.gif I discovered them at a local baking supply store and couldn't believe the difference in the brightness and deepness of color. I loved not having to start with chocolate frosting for black because I don't like to mix my frosting flavors on the same cake. I think it takes away from the individual flavors being thier best. Just MHO. But I digress. In short - You will love them.

hmmm...since you use less, I hope these 4.5 oz bottles that I bought don't dry up before I get a chance to use them!

I wish I had bought the 4.5 oz bottles. I bought the smaller bottles thinking I needed "less" to color my icing with. I had Super Red but it still took a lot to get a good red and it did get darker after sitting 24 hours or so.

If you look at my July 4th cake you can see where the blue icing darkened. I did a FBCT and I wasn't happy with it, so I used the star tip to enhance it and you can see where the blue deepeded in color.

I am learning lessons as I go and I made and colored icing today to use tomorrow.
