the recipe I found called for some kind of oil or chocolate hazelnut but I don't have either and no going 30 miles for it.
It does say you can use any extract of your choice , so my question.... does vanilla or almond taste bad in this with the chocolate?

I really want to try this but don't want to waste the ingredients if it's going to be nasty.

TIA

i just made some using vanilla extract, for the same reason, no chocolate oil. it tasted amazing! i love the choc mmf. but it is hard (at least for me) to get it flawlessly satin looking, like the premade stuff. i used it on the brown cakes in my pics if you want to see. there are three of them.
