Has anyone found that there house is just to humid. Frosting staying soft or even sliding off cakes. Colors bleeding with airbursh or piping gels. I just can't seem to solve my problem of colors bleeding. The only thing is that my house is just to humid. We don't have central air but do have a air conditioner. What do you all think. Thanks much Nikki

I think it's possible. It's been very humid at my house too lately. Everything feels wet to the touch. We don't have central AC but a window unit in one bedroom. DH just came home w/ a dehumidifier last nite that's sitting in my kitchen and it makes such a difference. We've filled 3/4 of the bucket in 12 hours. It's a little warm in there with the windows closed, but at least it's not wet!

we have central air and it makes such a difference in the humity in our home. We also run a dehumidifier in the basement and i empty it every day this time of year, It pulls another 4 gallons of water out of the air during these humid days. So yes certainly the humidity in you house can play havic on your cakes.
