Can I add Meringue power to my BC icing to keep it more stable? I'm using the BC that has more shorting than butter.I have a wedding tomorrow and its going to be very hot here in NY.I just don't want the icing to melt. Please help.
I always put a TB of meringue powder in my buttercream, and I usually use mostly shortening.
