Awesome! I was just going to buy a tilting turntable and ended up spending 200.00 dollars worth of stuff. A lot of stuff that I didn't know that Wilton made. There was Mario Batali cookware, knives, a lot of picture frames. I bought lots of cookie cutters, gel colors, fondant (3.25 per pack!!!), disposible bags 100 plastic bags for 10 bucks !
, etc. If you're anywhere near, it's worth the trip.
I whis I was there to stock up on the bags I use them up so fast
My mom went and she doesn't even bake cakes
. She went 2 years ago (before I even knew it existed) and I ended up owing her $300
. Good thing I had the $.
I wonder what I owe her this time. ![]()
It sounds like you have to make a day of it just to get through the check out line. She said there were 30 cash registers
and still had an enormous line.
I think wilton ought to offer special TENT SALE deals on their site during their tent sales and I bet they would sell a lot more stuff than they already do and we all know that's their bottom line.....a little cynical thinking I know, but they would sell a lot since not all people can make it out to Ill. for this.
Does this happen every year? If so you know what I'm thinking, ROAD TRIP!!
guerrosos, I see you live in Aurora! So do I! What part do you live in? Maybe we could get together sometime.
I am taking a vacation day next Monday to go. I am soooo excited!!!
