Hello, I am making 3 cakes next weekend. I wanted to do something different for each one. The chocolate will be a DH with chocolate pudding. And the 2nd one will be a french vanilla with french vanilla pudding. And the 3rd will be pinapple cake mix with lemon pudding. Does this sound good? Do I need to add anything else with the puddings? Like change the amount of water, eggs, oil etc....? Thanks in advance. Also I forgot I am covering these cakes with butterscotch candy melts.

Usually when you add instant pudding to a cake mix, you add an extra egg to the batter. Check the side of the box; if there's a "pound cake" recipe on there it'll show ya ^_^ oh yeah, and the flavor combos sound great too!

i've made quite a few cakes w/instant pudding. I add an extra egg (but i split it 1/2 white and 1/2 whole egg), and add milk instead of water.
the cake sounds yummy!
