.....I need help coming up with an "opps we forgot your birthday cake"....
anyone got anything???...Im begging...PLEASE!!
What a toilet or toilet paper roll cake saying "Oh Crap! Sorry we missed your birthday!" or something along those lines? Kind of gross, but funny and interesting if it's for someone close to you...who isn't afraid of a little potty humor!

thats funny....except its my husbands boss...I honestly think he'd appreciate that humor though!!!
OK, My first thought was kinda cheesy but here it is...a sheet cake with a "to do" list in the middle with a little room on the bottom. Put a bunch of stuff on the to do list with the checks in the boxes with the last box unchecked and written next to it "Wish *** a Happy Birthday"
Then on the bottom of the cake where you ended the list, write something like "We tried to remember!"
Needs tweeking, but a thought at least. 
How about something like... "Happy Birthday! We didn't forget...we were just extending the celebration!" or a good one ( I make a card like this) Write "What do these two things have in common?" on the top of the cake. Then have a picture of your husband, the office, whoever the cake is from, and a picture of a donkey.
Then on the bottom, you can write "Right, the donkey didn't remember your birthday either!" Happy Belated Birthday! And lastly I have "We missed your birthday...do you mind if we celebrate it again?"
