Literally. Something along the theme of aliens and Roswell, Area 51, spaceships, little green men, anything of the nature. It will be a half sheet.

TIA

Hmmmmm. I have no idea. And I am a big science fiction fan. But I will bump you up so maybe someone else can offer some help.

ideas from the gallery: http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=thumbnails&meta=search&type=full&search=alien

if in to "Dr. Who", the Dayleks of course.

if in to Stargate SG-1 --> the Asgard

Devil's Tower from Close Encounters w/ mother ship peaking over it?

Borg from Star Treck: Next Generation (or any one of dozens upon dozens of aliens there)

Background Arizona desert looking - space ship kinda off to one side and the little green men GETTING BACK ON the ship. We have enough around here. icon_wink.gif Then a catchy phrase.

alien(s) from Men in Black?

form Independence Day?

for Cowdex's fun idea: variation on the old star trek joke: beam me up...there is no intelligent life here

cue from the song: "one-eyed, one-horned, purple people eater"

cue from movie: the day the earth stood still

cue form movie: the blob

Wow, thanks for all of the suggestions! I have some wonderful ideas going in my mind! The background will be beige BC with toasted coconut to resemble a desert, and edible "spaceship" image (just so happens there is a old "spaceship shaped" building not too far from here) and an alien green tinted BC filling! I am SO excited about this one!

If you're thinking of the old Pegasus-something on the way to Carl's Corner, that's the one I am using. I cant believe that no one wants that place! It would be a great bakery- LOL! "out of this world desserts"!

i was thinking you can use a circular pan w/ the wonder mold on top for a spaceship and then use fondant/royal icing to create the planets or stars and use wiring to hang those like a background sticking out from the cake.
