How about taking it to your doctor/pediatrician/beautician or someone you feel has always been good to you? Daycare personnel? Pastor?

Any small businesses that your work deals with would probably really appreciate it.

I work in an advertising agency, and I teach art classes to children, so I always have SOMEONE to give cake to. Not to mention, my crazy friends who will take the whole thing if I will let them, hehe.

I say, go to a salon or a small business and offer them the cake. Not only will it cheer them up, but it will take away some of the boredom that working in a small office can bring icon_smile.gif

I would say the nearby fire department, police department or church. Most churches have different activities going on throughout the week, and your cake would probably be very welcome.

You could donate them to a children's shelter or homeless shelter. I'm sure they will appreciate cake!

da_goof - I have baked a couple of cakes since class got out. I did my first frozen buttercream transfer this past weekend, because I was practicing for my brother's bday cake. He's turning 7 at the end of August. Tomorrow, I'm baking my grandma's bday cake.

As for July, I have to make a couple of cakes for my sister, 1 small one for our family party, and a TON for the big surprize party at La Chai. August I have to make 3 cakes for my brother (one for his party at the bowling alley, one for the family, and a small one just for him on his bday), and also a cake for my boyfriend's parents and grandma (their birthdays are two days apart), and one for my uncle. September, lots of friends bdays.

What about you?
