Hello!
I am definitely a newbie in the forums, but I need help with ideas for a baby shower cake (or cakes!) I've been asked to do. Mom-to-be is having triplet boys, and the shower is for around 35 people. Any ideas? My creativity has apparently run dry.

How funny! My first thought was "Three Peas In A Pod" ... which would be a spin off of "Two Peas" ... so then my second thought was, "Well, 'three's company'" ... don't know how to put that in a cake though. Lately I have had a facination with themed tierd cakes ... maybe numbers ... top tier "One Family" ... middle something like "Two Parents" ... bottom "Three Babies" ... I don't know but you could work on it. Hey, that's how you could get the "Thee Peas" or "Three's Company" theme in. (I'm a bit of an overkill on cakes!) =)
Ginger08 did an awesome two tiered whimsy that landed on a stork and squished it. She did it for twins, and I did a version of it for 2 showers also... both for twins. It would be appropriate for triplets too. Check out Ginger's, or mine are in my gallery too (hers is way better!)
You could also do something with yellow duckies, mama duck followed by three ducklings. ??? Peas in the pod are always soo cute too.....and very unisex. HTH! Good luck!!! Oooo, I also love the cakes that look like a box of diapers too (lots of covered twinkies) They will definitely be going thru lots of diapers!!!

Thank you SO much for your help...I think I have some GREAT ideas! Are there directions for the pea pod cake somewhere? I'll go searching. Thanks again for everyone's suggestions.
