Opening a new bakery and I have read that you all have done dummies. Can you please tell me how to do these so I can display my work. Thank you for your help

I just ice them in my regular buttercream. For some reason, when the icing is put on styrofoam, it turns as hard as concrete (for the record, it doesn't do that on my cakes). If you do fondant, there are some tricks to the trade with that material, but I will leave those suggestions for the fondant experts on here.

When I'm ready to change the design, I just run a knife under the icing and it pops right off. Less than 5 minutes and a damp rag and I'm ready to roll!

The dummies will work for inplace of real cakes. I do that instead of cakes when I want to practice a new technique.
