Realisticly, how many people will a double layer 9x13 sheet cake feed?
I need a cake to feed around 25, I was thinking of going ahead and making a 11x15 but I think that would be to much, plus I have a hard time finding boxes and boards for 11x15 cakes. It is needed Saturday.

According to my calculations.......It serves 36. Cut the cake lengthwise in thirds, (3 3" rows) then 12 1"slices down the line giving you 36 servings of 1"x3". Of course, 4" high cake torted with filling can also be sliced into 1x2" pieces giving you around 50 slices.

You'll have plenty.

However, the boxes I have found for 1/4 sheet are usually not tall enough for a 4" tall cake. But it fits with the lid open .
