Does anybody know where to find a clear shalack for dummy cakes or pastries?? I thought I saw something online once but now I can't find it. I need something to coat and keep pastries looking fresh or preserved for a while. Any ideas???

Thanks!!!

I know edible lacquer, it's a spray and it makes everything very shiny. But it is edible. It's purpose is not to preserve anythiing but just to give shine.. If your purpose is to preserve something that is not to be eaten, maybe any hardware or framing store will have them. icon_smile.gif

I would like to know if edible lacquer would seal a cake from colour bleeding?
I was hoping to find something that would eliminate the dark colours bleeding into the lighter ones.
Does anyone know if this would do it before I invest in it and find out otherwise?
thanks Claire
