I need to do a cake for Sunday for two brothers having a birthday. These are adult men and the only specifics I've been given is 1 1/4 sheet chocolate cake, filling and icing. One works with computers and likes football, the other works for the DEA and likes basketball. I'm at a complete loss as what to do. I want something fun but not real complicated and I'd like to stick to buttercream with fondant accents. TIA!!!

How about a 2" tall sheets cake with two half balls on top, you can get too crazy with stuff for guys and they proaly want something yummy that's all guys care about!

I agree. On the sheet cake I would make one half a football field and the other a basketball court.
