Hello icon_smile.gif I've seen some cakes here where some times the candy melt was used to fill in the drawings on the cake, unfortunatly the candy melt is not available where I live, do u think that TOBA's Glace` icing used to decorate cookies will have a similar effect on cakes? I'm afraid that the cake will absorb it! pls help icon_confused.gif

I've never used Toba's icing, but if you would like to use the candy melts, from what I understand the almond bark you buy in the grocery store is made of the same stuff. I used it just this last week to make my first chocolate transfers and it worked wonderfully. It doesn't come in the multitude of colors, but a set of candy colors fixes that.

You can use icing or piping gel to make pictures. The Piping gel will be like stained glass and stay slightly sticky.

I have used her glace icing recipe and it is very similar to royal icing except with royal icing you thin it to a flow consistency with glace icing it is the other way around you have to thicken it with confectioners sugar to do the outline work. HTH
