I just got a call tonight (Monday Night) for a cake due Wednesday for a birthday. The birthday is for an adult who loves cats. Needs to serve at least 12 guests. The cake has to be light in flavor. Like a white or yellow cake. Any ideas on flavors or decorating????????

TIA
Tiffany

What about a FCBT?

Or, you could do a regular round cake with fondant figures of a cat playing with a ball of yarn.....

How about a decorating to look like a license plate (see attached link with picture) and then in the middle you could pipe the happy birthday greeting.

Irisinbloom....I just pmd you on the ball of yarn idea. I think that would be cute!

All of your ideas are great. I do like the kitty litter idea, but I don't know the lady very well and I don't want to offend. But it is hilarious!!!!!!

If I make the cake in the Wilton ball pan (larger one). How many will it serve?

WHEW! All done!

I finished the cake. Ended up doing the kitty on top of a ball of yarn. I posted the picture in my photos. The birthday gal loved it!!! She wanted to keep the kitty...forever...but then she actually ate half of it!!!!!!!

Thanks for the help!
