Cannoli Filling?

Does anyone know if the recipe on this site for cannoli can be substituted as a filling for cake?? In my area, cannoli filling is very popular in cakes and I would like to be able to offer this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steph

I don't know about the recipe on here but the Cake Mix Doctor has a cannoli filling recipe, let me know if you would like it.

There's a couple good recipes on allrecipes.com, too. I miss good cannoli! But I just can't bring myself to make them...guess I'll have to try it as cake filling.

Thanks for the help! I couldn't get on this site for a few days it kept saying it was closed for maintenance, anyone else have this problem?
