Any suggestions for a "Quilt Cake" for a 70th wedding anniversary? They won't need it until July but I am trying to put together a design.

You might try browsing through quilting magazines to find an inspiration design. I am not a quilter but I made a crazy quilt design for our county fair a couple years ago.

What about doing the double wedding ring pattern on the cake.

I saw a cake recently, I think it was on here, that had squares cut of different colors of fondant. The findant was embossed with a few different types of designs, and then the squares were totally covering the cake randomly, making it look like a quilt. It was really pretty and I bet you could do something like that with the double wedding ring idea.
