I am trying to plan an old Hollywood silver screen/classic movie themed party. I need some cake ideas to help get the ball rolling. Any suggestions?

How about film strips made from fondant going all around the cake and some gold painted stars. Sorry it's probably a little to much. icon_redface.gif

i saw this amazing cake on here i dont know hwo did it... but it was stacked and a few film reels on the top with stars pointing out and then it had some gold oscar cut outs and a red carpet i think... it was something like that but here some idea anyways
