What's the best way to make bows? I've read that you can mix some gumpaste in with MMF and it helps the loops to dry harder. So is that the best way to go? If so, how much gumpaste do I add to the fondant and at which point do I add it?

Thanks so much.

50/50 gumpaste/fondant knead together ...works great!

If you happen to have Margarent Braun's "Cakewalk" book, she has an interesting technique for making bows using a strip of gumpaste/fondant. Take each end and fold it toward the middle and attach it, forming the two loops. Then cover seam with a small strip and attach streamers.

There's a tutorial in this site look under articles. It's very easy to follow.
