I'll throw in another piece of advice~when posting a question try to include what you are asking about in the subject. You'll get more answers faster if we know what you need! Like for this topic, a good subject might have been "Need Help with Abbreviations" or "Abbreviation Help".
The search function is great to find answers to a lot of common questions.
The articles section has lots of wonderful info.
You can watch topics without posting to them by clicking the "watch this topic" at the bottom of a thread.

I'm a Sydneysider as well and yes, CC is very addictive!!!!
Now you have the Abrev. sorted...... its time to start on the ingredient and recipe differences....it can get a bit confusing....... 
Its taken me a bit of time to work those out........ So if you need a hand with any of those let me know !!!!
