Can this be used right away or must it sit for a bit?

I usually let rest for about an hour or so. It can still be hot int he middle and don't want to burn yourself.

Leily this is not the recipe where you have to warm the marshmellow its made with marshmellow fluff/cream. I did let it sit while the cake cooled and i made the buttercream, it worked great.

Hmm.. haven't tried that one yet... Guess it is another on the list that never ends. Always finding something new to try icon_lol.gif

Will keep that in mind to let it sit, if it worked once, why mess with it right?

I havent done the other where you melt the marshmellows but like you said why mess with something that works. I really like mmf and it was i guess not much easier but easier not to melt it and have to wait like 8 hrs for it to rest. You have to try it, you may never go back.

I read about this before, I do not remember if it was on this site. I can recall very well that all those who posted responses to this same question said that if you are going to make this recipe, do not use any other brand than Fluff, as the generics and store brands either stay really sticky or they do not firm up like they should.

hehe, who can wait 8 hrs? LOL I usually just let it sit for aobut an hour to let it cool (if I use the large batch) About 90% of the time though I use a smaller recipe and I can use it right away b/c it is cooled off as I need it.

I will have to get some fluff though and try the Easy MMF

I actually put mine in the fridge to cool quickly, but got distracted. It was hard as a rock when I pulled it out!!!!
