Does anyone know if you can stand them up against the sides of a cake the way a chocolate transfer is often placed vertically against the upright sides. Hope this isn't confusing but rather than laying flat on top of the cake, can they be placed up against the sides???????

I tried it once, and it didn't work. It appeared to work at first, but then after about 30 minutes its weight just peeled it right off the cake. I ended up having to improvise with fondant cutouts and piping.

I couldn't even get a little piece of ribbon FBCT to stay up.
It's just the same as regular buttercream, only thinner, so with no support at room temp, it just flops.
