I'm making a "camping" cake and want to have flames in the BBQ pit. how do I get that two-tone look for the flames?

candy melts, red & orange (and can add yellow for 3 tone)

pipe in basic shape of flame

toothpick to swirl for more of real flame look.

When I did my Sparky Fire Department cake with flames, I just put three different colors (red, yellow and orange) of BC in a piping bag and a tip #21 ..turned out pretty cool!
